Hello, you’re welcome! Yes, this is a double headband, worked in the round. You can also knit it flat and sew the headband horizontally (but you’d need to add a selvedge stitch on each side for seaming), and then make the twist. You can also make it single layer – cast on 29sts (=a multiple of 3sts+2sts+selvedge stitches of your choice), and yes, you will K2, P1 on the wrong side.

Is this in the round, so if it’s on straight needles, it’s to change the pattern K to P for round 2? Also, I am wondering if it’s cast on 58 stitches, how does it work?
